Post nasal drip is a very aggravating condition which affects the upper respiratory tract. It occurs when too much mucous is secreted by the nasal mucosa. Instead of running down the throat the mucous collects in the throat and the back of the nose causing a symptom that something is stuck in the throat and needs to be cleared up by constant swallowing.

It removes all the harmful toxins and the impurities, destroys infection and clears the nasal passages. Boil a cup of water and steep two teaspoons of dried nettle into for fifteen minutes. Filter the tea, stir in a teaspoon of honey and drink three or four cups daily.

Its powerful antioxidant properties detoxify the body, boost immunity and stimulate blood circulation. It makes the body more resistant to infections, air pollutants, allergies and other irritants. Grate two fresh amlas and soak them in a glass of hot water. Add a teaspoon of honey to the mixture and drink it once every morning.
This age old herb has innumerable therapeutic uses. Its powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral properties help to clear the mucous from the throat and the nasal passages and bring considerable relief in the coughing and sore throat. Mix one teaspoon of cinnamon powder into a glass of hot water. Stir in two teaspoons of honey and sip this mixture slowly, allowing it to sit in the throat for sometime before swallowing.
This herb has powerful anti-inflammatory, expectorant and antioxidant properties. It thins down the mucous and helps it to run down the throat or out of the nose.
It also decongests the chest and nasal passages and unclogs the blocked airways. Take a teaspoon of anise seeds and pound them coarsely. Put to boil one cup of water and add the pounded seeds to it. Boil for one minute then turn off the heat. Allow the tea to stand for ten minutes after which strain it and drink three to four cups daily.

It also brings great relief in the congestion. Add a few drops of eucalyptus oil to a pan of boiling water and inhale the hot vapors twice daily.
