Natural Cures For Blepharitis
Black Currant Oil
Black currant oil is beneficial for the treatment of blepharitis. Supplements of black currant oil can be taken along with diet. This method helps in restoring moisture to the hair and skin.
It is useful in providing GLA which is an essential fatty acid helpful in promoting the growth of hair and skin. Its consumption in doses of five hundred milligrams two times on a daily basis is recommended. Continue using this remedy until six to eight weeks and reduce the dose to half when found improvement.
Primrose Oil & Warm Water
Primrose oil is helpful for the patients suffering from blepharitis. This natural cure helps in restoring moisture to the hair and skin. Warm water is useful in treating blepharitis.
Take a cotton ball and dip it in warm water. Rubbing the edges of eyelids helps in removing the scales. Continue using this remedy two times per day is recommended. Do this in the morning time and before going to sleep. Do this until the dandruff is removed. This remedy can be used two times per week.
Omega 3 Fatty Acids
Omega 3 fatty acids are beneficial for treating blepharitis. These fatty acids are useful in reducing the symptoms of blepharitis. Diet having fatty acids is beneficial for health.

Calendula And Chamomile

Compress of cool and wet bags of chamomile can be used. Soak these tea bags in hot water and allow cooling down. Application of this solution over the eyes while lying down is beneficial.
Baby shampoo is useful in the treatment of blepharitis. Prepare a diluted solution of fifty percent baby shampoo. Take a wet and warm washcloth and apply the baby shampoo solution using index finger. Mild soap can also be used in place of baby shampoo. Rubbing the solution over the eyelids and eyelashes is recommended. Afterwards, rinse with warm and wet washcloth. Wash the eyes properly.
