Equal amounts of parsley juice, beet juice, cucumber juice and carrot juice can be blended well to prepare the infusion. Having an infusion of equal quantities of beet juice and freshly prepared parsley juice can be also considered as valuable in curing the problems.

2. Ginger

Ginger is regarded as a very beneficial home cure for the menstrual problems. Ginger is usually used in the case of aching menstruations. A decoction can be prepared readily by boiling a small amount of finely pounded ginger in a cup of water for about 5 minutes. This can be consumed two to three times daily along with a little of sugar for taste. For the best results of the treatment, honey can be added to the infusion instead of sugar and this can be consumed early in the morning. Breast feeding mothers should avoid using honey as this can cause botulism in infants.

3. Sesame Seeds

Sesame seeds are best among the other home medicines for menstrual problems. Some quantity of dried sesame seeds can be pounded and stored. A fresh solution can be prepared daily by mixing half a spoon of this powder in a cup of water. This concoction can be used once in a day for the better results of the treatment. Regular use of this decoction can help in relieving completely from scanty menstruation. The person facing menstrual problems can also have a bath in water boiled along with a small amount of powdered sesame seeds which is considered as a good cure for the problems.

4. Papaya

Papaya is an excellent remedy for the menstrual problems in women. Consuming raw papaya can be helpful in the contraction of uterine walls and hence can help in securing a correct menstruation. Eating an unripe papaya is known to be useful in curing the premenstrual tensions as well as painful periods, especially among the unmarried girls.

5. Ashoka Tree

The bark of Ashoka tree is regarded as one of the top remedies for the problems faced during menstruation in most of the women. This remedy is used particularly for the problem of excessive flow. A decoction can be prepared by boiling about 90 gm of Ashoka tree in about 2 ½ cup of water along with 30 ml of water for about 10 minutes. Taking this solution several times a day can help in relieving from the irregular menstruations. Using a freshly prepared infusion can help in curing the matter more rapidly.

Another home remedy in the case of menstruation troubles is coriander seeds. This is also used in healing the problem of over flow. Prepare a decoction by boiling about 7 grams of coriander seeds in 500 ml of water. Boil it for 5 to 10 minutes. This drink can be taken when warm along with a small amount of sugar candy.

6. Banana Flower

Banana flower is found to be effective in curing the trouble of excessive menstrual flow in women. One or two banana flowers can be boiled well and can be taken along with about 200 ml of curd. This is found to be helpful in enhancing the progesterone level and hence can reduce the problem of over flow.

7. Mango Bark

Mango bark is one among the best remedies for the problems of menstruation. Freshly extracted juice of mango bark can be given to the person suffering from irregular menstruation along with a little each of kernel of poppy and egg white. A mixture of this infusion and a little of water can be consumed in small amounts as a part of the cure for the menstrual problems.

8. Chickpea or Bengal gram

Chickpea or Bengal gram is also valuable in them treatment for menstrual problems. Having a bath in water boiled with a whole plant of chick pea can be advantageous in the treatment. Marigold is another herbal remedy used in the case of menstrual problems. An infusion can be prepared using this herb and about a tablespoon of this infusion can be consumed once per day as a part of the treatment.

Rough chaff is proved excellent in curing the problems related with menstruation in women. About 20 grams of this herb can be boiled in about 250 ml of water to prepare the concoction. This can be drunk every day and is an important home remedy for the problems related with menstruation. Another herb, namely hermal is also found to be very effective in healing the menstrual problems and hence help in regulating the periods.
