Gingko biloba is known to be beneficial in treating leucoderma. Take about forty milligram of gingko biloba extract three times a day. Doing this works very well in inhibiting the continued growth of vitiligo. It also helps in re-pigmentation in a few people.

Mama Cadela

This herb hails from the savannas in Brazil and is also known as brosimum gaudichaudii or mama cadela. It contains yellow fruits, which are sweet and have dark green leaves. For the treatment of leucoderma, it is recommended to take the skin and root of this herb.

Boil it with water and drink this concoction every day to relieve the problem. You can also use this herb as a compress on the patches. Regular use is beneficial in diminishing the patches in about a week.

Turmeric

Turmeric is a wonder spice, which cures several issues and leucoderma is no exception. For leucoderma turmeric works very well when it’s combined with mustard oil. To prepare this mix, take about 400 grams of turmeric and pound it well. Soak this in about seven kilograms of water in the night. In the morning, this mix should be boiled till the water reduces to about one kg.

Now filter it and mix it with about 400 grams of mustard oil. Heat this again until there is only oil left. Now, apply this blend on the patches twice every day for a couple of months to achieve the desired results.

Psoralea

Psoralea seeds are known to be effective in the treatment of leucoderma. To use this herb, you need to soak the seeds of psoralea in juice made out of ginger. Allow it to soak for about three days. Once it is completely soaked, dry them well and then grind the seeds to make it into a fine powder. Take about one gram of this powder, add fresh milk and drink this every day.

Continue drinking this mixture for about two months to notice better results. You can also make a paste with ground seeds of psoralea and apply it on the patches. Doing this greatly helps in fading the patches in couple of months.

Basil

Basil also known as tulsi works well on lecuoderma when used in combination with limejuice. To notice positive results, add a few drops of limejuice to the basil extract and mix well. Apply this mix on the affected area three to four times every day for about six months.

Basil

The symptoms will start diminishing in a month’s time and it will completely disappear in about six months. Lime and basil are known to be very effective in increasing the production of melanin.
