A weak immunity further worsens the condition of the patient. Natural remedies provide relief in herpes reducing the sores and blisters. Elderberry herb is once such natural remedy for this problem. Using the herb improves the immunity due to its high content of flavonoids. It reduces inflammation and kills the virus that causes herpes. It stops the growth of virus protecting the body from its attack. We will explain the method of using elderberry for herpes.

Method Of Using Elderberry For Herpes:

Things Required

For the first remedy, you will need some dry herbs like half cup elderberry, two tablespoon Echinacea and one tablespoon powdered ginger. If you want to use fresh elderberry, take one cup measurement of it. You will need two cinnamon sticks. For adding a sweet taste, take half a cup of honey. You will also need three cups water. Take a fine sieve for straining the syrup. You can also use a coffee filter or cheesecloth for this purpose.

Method Of Making Elderberry Syrup

Mix all the dry herbs and cinnamon in water and cook the solution on a slow flame. Let it cook for at least half an hour. Boil the solution till it becomes half in amount. Keep stirring in between regularly. Mash the elderberries with the help of a spoon. Let the water absorb the juice of the herb. Take the pan off from the flame. Pour the liquid on a fine sieve to separate it from the solid herbs and spices. After this, cool the solution for ten minutes. Add honey to the warm syrup for a better taste. Pour the liquid in a container made of glass. Secure with a lid and store the syrup. You can keep it in a refrigerator for two months.

  • Herpes is contracted through direct contact with an active lesion or body fluid of an infected person. Herpes transmission occurs between discordant partners; a person with a history of infection (HSV seropositive) can pass the virus to an HSV seronegative person. There are no documented cases of infection via an inanimate object (e.g. a towel, toilet seat, drinking vessels). To infect a new individual, HSV travels through tiny breaks in the skin or mucous membranes in the mouth or genital areas.

    • this is, of course false. the white shit that comes off of sores left on objects can live on a surface for days. and it IS documented.

Simply put, most virus's can live on a surface, for days.
