Garlic has anti-septic and anti-inflammatory properties, which helps in reducing the itchiness and pain, while also speeding up the recovery process. Take some garlic oil and massage the affected area with this, several times a day. It would help in increasing the blood circulation and relieving the discomfort caused.
Cayenne powder is a very useful ingredient in increasing the blood circulation, therefore it is considered a good remedy for chilblains. Simply mix some cayenne pepper with a little water to form a paste. Apply this paste on the affected area 3-4 times a day. Make sure not to apply this paste on ruptured skin as it would worsen the condition.
Potatoes are known for their soothing properties and can reduce the inflammation and itching to a large extent. Slice one potato and add some salt; rub the affected area with these slices for a few minutes. Do this twice a day for about a week and you will see the positive results. Alternatively, you can also boil some potatoes in salt water, and soak your feet in the liquid when it has cooled down.

Do not apply this oil on the ruptured skin as it would increase the inflammation.
Egg Whites, Honey And Flour Paste
This is an effective remedy for chilblains. It soothes the skin and reduces inflammation to a great extent. Mix egg white with some honey and flour, and add a few drops of glycerine to form a paste. Apply this paste on the affected area and leave it on for 15 minutes before rinsing with cool water.
This is a very common home remedy for chilblains. It works wonders on the skin and helps reduce the tenderness in just one application. Grind the horseradish roots to form a powder and apply it directly on the affected area. Cover the area with a piece of cloth and leave it for a few minutes.
Celery is used in curing a number of skin problems. It also works really well for curing chilblains and soothing the skin. Boil a few stalks of celery in water to form a broth, and let it cool down.
