Simply dab a little lemon juice on the zit using a cotton ball and allow it to remain on the skin for few minutes. However, wash it off before stepping out in the sun as it can bleach the face and make the skin from sensitive to sun’s rays.
Fuller’s Earth Clay Mask
A simple clay mask made from fuller’s earth is another extremely effective remedy for treating zits. These days, fuller’s earth is easy available under the name cosmetic clay and it is extremely effective for getting rid of pimples.
Simply take a tablespoon of this clay and mix it with enough water to form a thick paste. Apply this paste on the zit and leave till it dries completely. You can even leave it overnight and wash off in the morning. This remedy is so effective that many people have reported complete disappearance of their pimples overnight.
Tea Tree Oil / Lavender Oil

Though it sounds quite surprising but spices like cloves and nutmegs are also quite effective for the treatment of zits. Simply add 2 teaspoons of whole cloves and 1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg in half a cup of milk.
Heat this milk mixture for 10 minute on low simmer. Allow the mixture to cool down and then dip a small piece of fabric or washcloth and apply it all over the face to treat zits efficiently.
A sprig of mint is enough to help you get rid of pimples. Simply take a leaf from a fresh mint sprig and rub it between your fingers till it gets bruised.
