Morning Walk

You must have heard many times that morning walk is good for health. It is not only good for body but also for your hairs.

It has been studied that walking barefoot on wet and green grass early in the morning prevents the appearance of white hair at young age. The dews on the grass contain many minerals that are absorbed by the skin and help to maintain healthy hair.

Diet

Diet also plays an important role in making your hair beautiful and healthy. Leafy green vegetables and fruits are very good for hair health. Dairy, fish and nuts are foods that keep the hair in good shape. Vegetables juice like carrot and lettuce juice is good to retain the hair color. Taking juice of wheat sprouts helps to prevent white hair.

Vitamin B Rich Foods

It has been studied that deficiency of vitamin B can cause white hair. Therefore, it is essential to furnish the body with adequate amount of vitamin B to prevent white hair.

Ensure Iodine Intake

Iodine is also an important mineral for healthy hair. Good supply of iodine in the body helps to retain hair color. So, increase you intake of iodine rich foods as much as you can.

Among all, fish contains the higher amount of iodine. Other foods that contain iodine are carrot and bananas. And the best way to consume iodine is using iodized salt for cooking instead of sea salt or kosher salt.

Amla

Amla is an excellent ayurvedic herb which has been used to treat several hair problems from ages. It never fails to fix any hair problem from hair loss to white hair. It can be used in many ways to control white or grey hair. You can make paste of amla fruit and apply it on the hair along with lemon juice.

Otherwise, mix amla juice with almond oil and lemon juice and apply it on the white hair to turn it black. You can even prepare a natural shampoo with amla by soaking it with overnight in water. Boil the water next morning, squeeze a few drops of lemon juice into it and use it to clean your hair. And if you could not apply alma in any of these ways then just buy alma oil and apply it regularly.

Henna

Like amla, henna is also an Indian herb that is commonly used to restore hair color. Many people have the impression that henna can only impart brown color on hair. Additionally, it can also be used as a hair conditioner.

Along with reversing white hair, it also strengthen, control hair loss and splits end. Apply it in the following way. Take enough quantity of henna powder in a bowl. Mix yogurt and olive oil into it and apply on the hair. Leave it for 45 minute to one hour to get a nice color on hair. Then wash off with shampoo as usual.

Hair Oil

Applying hair oil is one of the best ways to prevent any hair issues including white hair. People in India traditionally use hair oil in different ways to delay the appearance of white hair. You can use different hair oils in several manners to control the whitening of hair. You can either use almond or coconut oil mixed with lemon juice on hair and scalp.

It has also been noticed that eating sesame or applying sesame oil prevents the occurrence of white hair at young age. Here is a recipe of sesame oil which is popularly used in South India to control the appearance of white hair. Take equal amount of sesame oil and carrot juice and add half amount of fenugreek seed powder. Keep the mixture in the sun for 21 days. Apply this mixture on the hair.

Stress is the big enemy of mental as well as physical health. Hair is also not untouched by the bad impact of stress. People who undergo prolonged stress are more likely to have white hair at young age.

Smoking kills! But do you know that smoking can also make your hair white at young age. While smoking, we inhale the smoke which is formed due to burning of tobacco.
