5 Ways To Get Rid Of Chest Acne

Share

People who suffer from acne tend to have some acne on the chest as well as the back. The skin pores on the chest are large and when they become clogged with dead skin cells, the skin’s natural oil is trapped within the pores. The oil along with the dead skin cells accumulates inside the pores and creates a breeding ground for bacteria resulting in inflammation. The deeper the infection, the more severe is the acne.

During exercise or other physical exertion, the body sweats profusely. The sweat beads if allowed to remain on the skin mix with the skin’s oil and toxins found on the skin’s surface and clog the pores and irritate the skin leading to acne. It is therefore very important to take a shower immediately following excessive sweating to wash away the sweat and other toxins from the skin.  Sometimes tight clothing or clothing made out of synthetic materials which do not absorb the sweat also irritate the skin and cause acne.
