Henna

Henna is a very good herb for the hair. This herb when mixed with amla-shikakai and applied on the hair will give silky smooth and split end free hair.

Before washing your hair, you have to apply the paste of henna with water. Wash it after half an hour as otherwise it will give a coloring effect on your hair.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is one of the frequently used herb for the treatment of hair and skin problems. Aloe Vera juice when taken regularly will detoxify the body and removes the dry and brittle hair that causes split ends.

The gel of aloe vera should be applied on the hair shaft and the scalp to make the hair soft and split ends free.

Arnica

Arnica is an alpine herb and it has a long history of use in the folk medicine of Russia. It is analgesic and vulnerable. The main constituents of this herb are volatile oil (containing thymol), resins, Arnica, carotenoids and flavonoids which makes it very good for the scalp and hair problems like spilt ends .

You can take this herb in the form of Arnica tablets, tincture, infused oil or extracts. But it is not recommended for long term use as it causes irritation.

Jojoba

Jojoba gives a natural affinity to the skin and is readily absorbed by the skin without making it greasy. It has anti-oxidant properties and helps to clean the hair.

The use of jojoba oil stimulates the hair growth into long hair and avoids the formation of split ends in it. The jojoba oil can be applied directly on wet hair or it can be applied in combination with other oils like coconut oil also.

Sage

The sage herb as a whole and its oil promotes hair growth and scalp health. So it is recommended for use as it contains adequate amount of iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc, vitamin B and C.

These nutrients helps to avoid the damage of the hair follicle and when the hair follicle are strong then the loss of hair will be minimized and ultimately , it will prevent split ends. Sage herb can be used in the form of sage oil for hair .Sage tea is also beneficial but it should be taken regularly to get better results.
