Sebaceous Cyst is also known as Keratin Cyst or Epidermoid Cyst. The bump grows suddenly under the skin. It develops when the sebaceous glands get blocked with keratin protein of the skin. These cysts are filled with some yellowish liquid. These cysts can appear any part of the body except palms and soles. The size of these non-cancerous bumps may vary. These cysts may appear due to the blockage of sebaceous glands, inflamed hair follicles, too much testosterone production, skin disturbance, waxing or shaving, excessive exposure to sun.
Castor oil is one of the most effective home remedies for sebaceous cyst. It helps in healing the swollen and itchy cyst. Don’t apply this oil directly on the bump. For better result, soak a clean cloth in the Castor oil and place it on the cyst. Then compress it with hot bag for about twenty to thirty minutes. This method will reduce the itchiness and shrink it. It will cure the cyst quickly.
Turmeric is an extraordinary healing spice which can treat cyst. It will help you to cure the cyst internally. The spice will help you for better digestion and purify your blood. Mix half teaspoon of turmeric in a cup of milk and drink it for at least ten days for best result.
Tea tree oil useful in recovering from sebaceous cyst effectively. It contains anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial components. Apply tea tree oil directly on the cyst. It will spread a layer on the cyst and kill those bacteria. You can also use diluted tea tree oil with some carrier oil in 1:9 ratio thrice a week.
Aloe Vera heals and relieves you from pain. Apply Aloe Vera gel on the cyst for its cooling and healing effect. You can also drink the juice of the Aloe Vera to purify your blood and body.
Epsom salt is an expert to remove the infection. Mix some Epsom salt in your bathing water. Take a bath in that water. You can apply this method daily. It will help you to cure the cyst by killing the bacteria and its effect.
