Guggul or Commiphora mukul is found widely in India. The main benefit offered by the herb is that it has fat burning properties, which makes it one of the most common ingredients used in anti obesity and fat burning agents or preparations. Also it has lipid regulating capacity and has been widely used in most of the herbal medicinal supplements and is an excellent heart tonic. One important aspect of the herb is that it is never used in its raw form. But all products and supplements available in the market make use of the herb only after it has been purified or only after the shudikar has been carried out.
It has been found that Guggul has no adverse effects but prolonged use of the same can cause gastrointestinal disturbances. Guggul should not be used if you are pregnant as it stimulates the uterus and can therefore harm the fetus. Also its usage is barred in the event you are suffering from hyperthyroidism. It is also helpful in addressing problems like impotency, atherosclerosis, and high cholesterol aside from being helpful for the obese and overweight.
Guggul has positive influence on triglycerides and if you are suffering from high levels of the same, it may help in lowering the elevated lipid level. Not only that it acts as a powerful muscle relaxant but also during menstrual pains, the discomfort could be gotten rid with the product.
How to Use product
Available in 60 veggie capsules, the product is made from pure Guggul herbs that are of the best quality. You can take 1 to 2 capsules daily with water. This is the dosage suggested for adults. If you are not able to tolerate the herbal preparation, you might have mild side effects. People suffering from hyperthyroidism, heart ailments, and diabetes should not take the preparation. Also if you are a lactating mother or pregnant, you should avoid the herb in any form.
If Guggul is taken in large quantities (when you exceed the recommended dosage), it may cause few side effects that include rashes on the skin, pain in the abdominal regions, diarrhea, and anorexia. For similar reasons, it is always suggested that it should be taken only after being purified. You can continue the herbal preparation for as long as 4 weeks to 6 weeks to get desired results. Even if you fail to notice any changes do not be disappointed as the herbal remedies take time to show results and outcome varies from one person to another as no 2 individuals will respond to the supplements in the same manner.
