Hemorrhoids are caused by the inflammation of the blood vessels in the rectum or the anus. External hemorrhoids form underneath the skin that surrounds the anus. They are primarily caused by too much straining while passing stool. Hard and impacted stool does not move easily down the rectum and when one exerts a lot of pressure in the effort to evacuate it, the straining irritates the blood vessels and interferes with blood flow into and out of the area.
The blood vessels get inflamed and form into knots of tissues which are known as hemorrhoids. The symptoms depend upon of the severity of the condition. Hemorrhoids cause excruciating pain and bleed when passing stool. There is severe itching around the rectal and anal area and pain in the anus. The lumps of tissue feel swollen and tender and get bruised every time one visits the toilette. A severe case of constipation or diarrhea and pregnancy can be the leading cause of external hemorrhoids.
Ways To Treat External Hemorrhoids

Put a griddle on the gas and when it is hot put one teaspoon of carom seeds onto it. Roast the seeds until they swell then turn off the heat. Grind the seeds on a wooden board and mix a pinch of kala namak and pinch of asafetida and swallow the mixture with a glass of water once everyday.
Carom seeds will loosen all the hard and impacted and help it to be eliminated easily out of the rectum without straining. Carom seeds are also powerful antioxidants which keep the entire digestive tract in good health.

The peel will soothe the swollen tissue and will alleviate the itching at the same time. It will be very advantageous if you can tape the piece of the banana peel onto the hemorrhoid and keep it for as long as possible.
