Tea With Lemon Drops
The decoction made out of tea dust, which is available at home can be taken. Few lemon drops should be added to it. A foot bath should be taken with this solution every day. This will help in reduction of itching and burning sensation accompanied with the athlete’s foot.
Vinegar should be mixed with warm water and foot bath can be taken with this solution. This is the best ever medicine to kill the fungus. Mostly apple cider vinegar is used for this purpose.
If not available even normal vinegar can be used. Some may get a slight burning sensation during the bath. This can also be used in the douche form i.e., the same solution should be poured onto the affected area with force.
Coconut oil should be warmed with a little camphor in it. When fumes starts coming the oil should be removed from the flame. This oil can be applied onto the affected area. This acts both as an antiseptic and moisturizer.
Citrus Foot Bath
The peel of used lemons can be put in boiling water and allowed to boil for some time. When the water cools down to tolerable temperature, a foot bath can be taken with that.
