Combination skin is extremely tricky to care for as you have to deal with both oily as well as dry skin. The T-zone, comprising of nose, chin and forehead, are usually oily whereas the cheeks are typically dry. 1. Aloe Vera And Apple Cider Vinegar Cleanser


Liquid Castile Soap – ½ cup
Distilled water – ¼ cup
Aloe Vera Gel – ¼ cup
Vegetable glycerin – 1 tsp
Apple Cider Vinegar – 1 tsp
Lavender essential oil – 10 drops

To prepare this homemade cleanser milk water with liquid castile soap and mix well with a wire whisk. Add in aloe vera gel, apple cider vinegar and vegetable glycerin and mix well to combine everything together. Add in the essential oil and store the prepared cleanser in a glass bottle with a tight lid. This homemade cleanser will last for upto 6 months if stored in a dry and cool place. The aloe vera gel works well to moisturize the skin in the dry areas while the apple cider vinegar remove excess oil from oily regions such as the T-zone.

2. Oatmeal And Margosa Cleanser


Ground Oatmeal – 10 tbsp
Margosa Powder – 1 tbsp
Lemon peel powder – 1 tbsp

Combination skin requires a cleanser that not only balances oil but also rejuvenates, and exfoliates the skin while providing anti-acne properties. The oatmeal in this cleanser helps to exfoliate the skin and remove dead skin cells whereas the lemon peel powder provides antiseptic, anti-aging and skin lightening properties to cleanser. The margosa powder, on the other hand, helps control pimples and keeps acne at bay. When required, take a little powder on the hand and add in few drops of water to prepare a paste. Massage this paste all over the face and neck and massage for few minutes, especially in the T-zone. Wash off and follow with a moisturizer to get clear, spot-free and acne-free skin.

3. Gram Flour And Yogurt Cleanser


Gram flour – ½ cup
Yogurt – 2 tbsp

Gram flour works as an amazing cleanser, especially for combination and oily skin. To make a paste, add in yogurt to make a paste and use it to cleanse your face. This homemade cleanser will remove all excess oil and dirt from the face and provide you with a glowing complexion and soft skin.

4. Honey And Lemon Cleanser


Honey – 1 tbsp
Lemon juice – ½ tsp

Honey is an excellent cleanser to get rid of all dirt and grime from combination skin. On the other hand, lemon juice removes the excess oil and provides a clear complexion. Mix lemon juice with honey and apply all over the facial skin. Massage for a minute and then wash off with normal water.

5. Chickpea And Milk Cleanser


Chickpea powder – ½ cup
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Raw milk – ½ cup

Milk chickpea powder with a little turmeric powder and mix well. Then add in raw milk to make a smooth paste. Apply this prepared paste as a mask on the face and neck. After about 2 minutes, gently massage and wash it off to get clear glowing skin.

6. Tomato And Orange Juice Cleanser


Ripe Tomato – 1
Orange Juice – 1 tsp
Milk – 2 tsp

In a blender, add in a whole ripe tomato, a teaspoon of orange juice and 2 teaspoons of raw milk. Blitz the blender for a few seconds and make a paste. Apply the paste all over the face and neck for 5-10 minutes before washing off with cold water. This homemade cleanser will provide you with clear glowing skin.
